Freeze Frame Theater

Jesus Garcia

Have you ever wished you could press PAUSE in a tricky human interaction, to find a better approach? Or even REWIND it some? At the Freeze Frame Theater we’ll re-enact some poly scenarios with just that power – to stop and look together for a deeper understanding of a situation and discover more heartful and mindful approaches – as well as hopefully more effective ones. Bring your favorite (or least favorite) poly situations. This is a very participatory and dynamic (and fun!) group process for bringing out our combined wisdom and empowering ourselves for the future.

Radical Intimacy

April Oshun Thomas

Intimacy begins with the Self. Intimacy requires of us an attention born of a state of openness in our hearts and minds. In this workshop we’ll explore how our thinking minds process our relations with everyone and everything. We’ll learn a way to attend to this process that allows us to become more intimately familiar with our thinking processes. We’ll experience the contrast between the emotional states born of our thoughts, and a state of Presence.

Experiencing this contrast gives us a direct experience of how we affect our own feeling nature via our thinking. Becoming intimately familiar with how our minds tend to think, and experiencing the contrast between how we feel in response to thoughts that create difficult emotions, and how we feel when fully Present, serve to give us the personal Power to be able to choose to no longer identify with thoughts that produce difficult emotions. In working with our own psychology in this way over time, we gain the freedom from conditioned thought that diminishes our ability to sustain Presence of awareness, moment by moment, within all of our relations.

Re-imagining Family

Robyn Trask

Many in the polyamory community dream of an extended family of multiple lovers and friends living together or forming networks, few people actually find this in reality and yet it remains a common theme and desire. Why do we long for tribe and connection? Why is it so hard to find? In this presentation we will attempt to discover the challenges that interfere with cooperative living and communal connection. What can we do to overcome a lifetime of programming that impedes our ability to form community and extended family.

The experience is a blissful, aromatic journey with amplified intention.Bring a sheet or towel to lay on and be ready to feel divine.
